APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL EVENTS BANNER - COINER PARK TENNIS COURT FENCE

Street banners may be approved that advertise or pertain to civic, patriotic or special events of general public interest. No banners promoting commercial ventures or political activities are allowed. Banners shall be installed and removed by the applicant. Banners shall not be installed until the ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT by the Community Development Department. The City reserves the right to limit the number of days a banner is displayed. If the City removes the banner a fee may be charged for doing so.

 

Banner Standards

All signs and banners approved for installation shall meet the following standards: 

  • Banner material shall be heavy canvas, 15 ounce vinyl or similar durable fabric.
  • Banner shall be in good condition.
  • Width shall not exceed 48 inches, length shall not exceed 30 feet.
  • Metal press-fit grommets or heavy duty nylon-type strapping or heavy duty snap clips not more than 36 inches apart shall be provided along the top and bottom edges and corners.
