Cleveland Street Capitol Improvement Project
The excavation work on Kathleen Drive has now been completed, and the installation of the new infrastructure is currently in progress. Additionally, last week, crews were flagging on 6th Street as they prepare to connect the water and storm lines at Cleveland Avenue.
We anticipate that the infrastructure installation will be finished around June 30th. Following that, the street, curb, and gutter work is scheduled to be completed by July 31st.
6th Street will remain open throughout the duration of the project. Cleveland Street will remain open to local traffic only. Work is scheduled on Cleveland St between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact Shauna Neigh, Project Coordinator at (541)767-4153.

Douglas Street Effluent Line
City crews are continuing to install the 300’ of effluent line down Douglas Street. This project will extend the effluent line to Trailhead Park and then on to Bohemia Park for landscaping irrigation. Once the line has been placed the City of Cottage Grove will contract out the replacement of asphalt along North Douglas Street.
