The City is seeking applications for four open positions for three-year terms, ending 12/31/2025, and one position vacated by the election of Dana Merryday to the City Council, appointment to fill the position for the unexpired term remaining through 12/31/23, on the Cottage Grove Budget Committee. The Budget Committee reviews the City's financial plans and policies, including the annual budget. Meetings are typically held between April and June, but the Committee may also meet on an "as needed" basis. To be eligible to serve on the Committee, the applicant must live within City limits. The deadline for submitting an application is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023.
