Yes, it’s early! But mid-to-late June is when experienced local farmers and gardeners seed the great majority of vegetable crops feeding us through winter. Please join us for a workshop, conversation and seed exchange focused on our 'longest harvest season of the year’. We’ll be talking crops, timing, tactics, seed-saving, slugs and a whole lot more.
Our instructors, Andrew Still of Adaptive Seeds, and Nick Routledge of the Agrarian Sharing Network, have extensive experience raising field and greenhouse crops into the October-through-May harvest-window. They have been teaching winter cropping for PNW farmers and gardeners since 2003.
