The City of Cottage Grove Police Department is actively recruiting for an Entry Level or Lateral Police Dispatcher to join our organization. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task effectively, and a genuine commitment to serving our community.
Lateral Dispatchers: Either Full or Part-Time positions available.
The ideal candidate will perform well under pressure and demonstrate dedication to our core values of service, empathy, integrity, and courage.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Lateral Certified Dispatchers make up to $70,170.60 Per Year + Overtime (Potential Wage Increase July 1, 2025-Pending Finalization of Contract.)
- Entry Level Non-Certified Dispatchers start at $51,384 Per Year + Overtime (Potential Wage Increase July 1, 2025-Pending Finalization of Contract.)
- 8 Hours of Holiday Leave per Month
- 8 Hours of Sick Leave per Month
- 6.67 Hours of Vacation per Month
